Published by the Center of Economic and Law Studies (CELIOS), Ketimpangan Ekonomi Indonesia 2026: Republik Oligarki analyzes the growing concentration of wealth and political influence in Indonesia. Using economic and public asset data, the report shows that a small group of oligarchs and political elites control a disproportionate share of national wealth, much of it derived from extractive industries. The study argues that this imbalance worsens inequality, weakens social mobility, burdens workers and young people, and threatens democratic accountability and equitable economic development.
